Rabbits have always been special animals to me. I was planning to get a fiber rabbit somewhere in the future because there was this idea of learning how to spin yarn in the back of my head. I have knitted and crochet all my life. Making my own yarn had to happen at some point. In 2019 my first fluffle of German Angora rabbits came to me unplanned but in hindsight at the perfect moment in my life. These rabbits saved my life during the pandemic which happened shortly after. They gave me focus and a routine in my day. I absolutely fell in love with these amazing animals and their incredibly soft fiber.

And so it all began… In 2024 I was able to leave my job and focus on my angora rabbits and fiber arts. I love blending luxurious natural colored batts with US grown (mostly East coast) fibers always including my own angora fluff. I enjoy scouring and prepping raw fleeces. Spinning has become my new “obsession”. I offer raw and carded Angora rabbit fiber, natural colored batts with a variety of fibers, hand spun yarn and hand knitted and crochet item to keep you warm and for decoration. – Claudia Lemmerz Photo credit: Three Birches Homestead
