Our new farm location is a 23-acre 18th century working farm nestled in the shadow of the Hunterdon Highlands, Round Mountain, and Stanton Mountain in Raritan Township, Hunterdon County. We still have our beloved Finnish Landrace (Finn) sheep and other fiber animals.

The Finn and Finn-cross sheep are known for their soft wool that is strong but light in weight, so that you have the warmth of the wool without the heavy weight. It is wonderful for all types of garments, even for baby clothes due to its softness. We also have an Alpaca, plus Angora and Cashgora goats. We sell roving, hand-spun and mill-spun yarn. Needlework supplies are also available. We are known for our one-of-a-kind designs and handmade crafts. No two pieces are exactly alike. We feature natural or dyed colors of yarn. We are the inventors of AriaStitchTM, a unique needlework technique that uses both knitting and crochet in the same piece. Other techniques such as spinning and Australian locker hooking are used to create beautiful and unique crafts. Private and group lessons are available to learn how to master these techniques.

The Fiber Studio is always open by appointment, and at 5 specific times of the year when we hold our 1 or 2-day Open House:

  • Christmas/Chanukah
  • Winter
  • Spring/Easter/Passover
  • Summer
  • Autumn
