SUMMARY:Fleeces from Our Fibershed with Deborah Robson - POSTPONED
DESCRIPTION: – POSTPONEDWe regret to announce that we will be postponing our May 29 spinning workshop\, Fleeces From Our Fibershed with Deborah Robson\, as well as our May 30 Fiber Farm Market. All registration fees will be refunded. \nThis decision\, as difficult and disappointing as it is for everyone\, was unavoidable in light of the unprecedented challenges we face due to the pandemic. We will continue to monitor the situation and to abide by state mandates. We hope to be able to set a new date for our workshop and Fiber Farm Market soon. \n******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** \nRegistrations for Members (Producer – Artisan – Community Supporter) will open at 10 a.m. EST Monday\, February 3. Any remaining spots will be made available to the public on February 17. The cost of the full-day workshop is $125 for Members/$145 for non-Members\, with $10 material cost for all.\nJoin us for a very special spinning workshop with Deborah Robson\, author of  The Fleece & Fiber Sourcebook\, as she guides us through a breed study of some of the flocks found in our NJ Fibershed. \nLet’s explore the wool being grown by sheep in the New Jersey Fibershed. With a half-dozen or so clean fleeces from nearby\, we’ll discuss\, try different preparations\, and spin. While excellent wool is grown here\, and we’ll certainly experience some\, other samples might be wools that would frequently be overlooked but that warrant our attention. Breed-specific and crossbred wools all welcome. The workshop will be held at the teaching studio of Middle Brook Fiberworks\, in Bedminster\, NJ. \nRegistration for members beginning Feb. 3rd\, then remaining spots will be open to the public on Feb. 17\, 2020.  Additional details available on the REGISTRATION PAGE.  Should the  Workshop be cancelled\, the registration fee will be fully refundable.   \nShare this:\n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook
